Coin Breast Cancer
Please help, women who had breast cancer or even breast lumps.?

I would just like some advice if a person using please! There are about 5 days, I found a lump in my breast, I went to my doctor this morning and he felt and asked about family background and I set an appointment with a breast surgeon i think ... im just wondering what anybody has lumps feel like really? I know I may be jumping the gun but I am concerned it is a family history of cancer in my family but not necessarily from within. i am 22 and it is in my right breast directly over the nipple NY and it is a little bigger than a 50p piece, it is not bad at all, I have noticed as I hung in the shower and I am a small B cup aswel so I can see it, it isn't smooth it feels very grainy (ONY how I can describe it) and it is a little hard. I am so glad that my doctor took me seriously with what my sister had a cyst in the breast last year and had to go back 3 times before they did something, thank you for help and advice anyones! xxxxx

The vast majority of the time (especially at our age) cysts, breast lumps are benign, however, all the lumps and bumps must be studied. It is likely that he is innocent. Try not to worry too much. As your doctor said he will be discussed at the clinic and they may have a mammogram and / or ultrasound. If they think it's just a cyst, they'll probably make a (FNAC Fine needle aspiration cytology) which essentially means they will collect fluid from the cyst which is then sent for analysis. In some cases, they may do a biopsy base. Other tests depend on results. Again, breast cancer in this age group is very unlikely.
