Bofriend a painful swelling?
My partner had a sebaceous cyst behind the ear lobe for at least 10 years (HES 31) The other evening he got a needle and after sterilization, it was filled and all that stuff thick white fat is released, he was left with a little saggy skin but not fixed. he thought it was gone for good until two days later he woke up to she is back and Insted now be five percent the size of the pieces he balloned a size 20 to a penny, hot touch excruiately painful and has found its way to the summit if his ear. He is a monster. He has now gone to the emergency a while ago and I wondered what could they do to him? (I could not go) Please help.
It is likely infected. There no way you can truly sterilize a needle without an autoclave or ethylene oxide gas. Combine the not-quite-clean with needle puncture wound on the cyst and begging for bacteria. A pin-sized drain will not provide adequate drainage – it allows a lot of bacteria that may be on imprison the rest of the cyst. It is likely that the ER he throws and send him home on antibiotics and have him warm compresses for a week or so. But I am not a doctor – that's just my best guess!
